Picture Framing Projects
A Proven Leader in Custom Frame Design
Romeo’s Fine Arts is honored to be a two time national award winner for frame design. Over the years, we have participated in a few competitions in the picture framing industry. In the early years (2003 – 2007), we received the Decor Top 100 Framing Retailers Award from Tru Vue which recognized the most successful retailers in the Art & Framing Industry.
Most recently, we are very proud to be named a Larson Juhl 2016 Design Star Winner. Romeo’s Fine Arts was awarded First Place in the category, “Frame Designs for Documents” with our Grand Bohemian Table Top entry. Dave Romeo expertly framed a program in a handcrafted box. The box was made from custom frame moldings set back to back and designed for display on a table to provide optimal viewing of the program front and back.
In 1993, we were awarded a Grand Prize in the Larson Juhl Creative Classic Frame Competition. The competition drew entries from 22 locations across North America with more than 600 competitors. Romeo’s Fine Arts won First Place locally in the Philadelphia Distribution Center. Grand prize winners were then selected from all the entries in the 25 distribution centers, and we were honored to take Second Place overall in the Larson Juhl competition.
